Paul Oakenfold - Oakey at Buzz
On November 24th, 2000, a bunch of friends and I went to go see God (Paul Oakenfold) spin
at Buzz in Washington DC. I had a vastly incredible time there, and wanted to recapture the
music that made it such a life-changing experience. I found a partial setlist of the songs
he spun, and compiled a bunch of tracks together on one CD. I also mixed the beginnings
and endings of the songs to blend or fade into each other. While the CD is only an hour long,
and Oakey's set was three hours long, I still feel as though it is a good representation
of the atmosphere and intensity of the club.
01 Lost It.com - Animal

Pink Floyd - Greatest Hits 1
I made this CD back when Circuit City used to let me play my own music at work. I wanted to
play Pink Floyd CDs, but they all have a song or two where it's just really quiet, or it's
just random noise. So I decided to put a bunch of my favorite songs on a CD to play.
01 Run Like Hell
02 Sheep
03 Wish You Were Here
04 Free Four
05 Dogs of War

Rap Compilation CD
I don't like rap in general. But hey, there are a few songs that are kind of cool, so I took

I got this CD from Pizza Hut and CDnow.com. They had a promotion when you bought a certain
pizza, you get to make a six song custom CD from a list of songs they had. Most of it was
crap, but they had a bunch of Megadeth and Chemical Brothers to chose from. The title of the
CD came from a quote in the movie "Half-Baked."
01 Megadeth - Almost Honest
02 Megadeth - Crush 'Em
03 Megadeth - Insomnia
04 Megadeth - Trust
05 Megadeth - Use the Man
06 Chemical Brothers - Out of Control
The Heaviest Album in the World
I decided to make this CD for when I just felt like listening to the hardest, loudest, and
most thrashing music I could think of. When I'm in a real headbanging mood. And it works
quite well.

High Rollin'
Ahh the High Rollin compilations.. my proudest achievement (hehe). Once I started listening
to trance music, I realized that for every CD there is, there's only a few songs that are
really good, and everything else on the album pretty much sucks. Only a certain few can
actually put you in a zone where you can't focus on anything else but the music.
So, I decided to take all the songs that did just that and complile them on a CD. When I
realized I couldn't fit them all on just one CD, I decided to make it a double disc set.
What more, I personally mixed the tracks together so that the end of one song would blend in
to the beginning of the next. Either by fading one out while the next one faded in, or matching
the beats of the songs together so it seemed like the song naturally transitioned to the next.
I got better and better at it with each High Rollin compilation I made.

High Rollin' 3: Don't You Think You've Had Enough?
After I made High Rollin' 2, I didn't think I was going to make another one. HR2 was
originally only 45 minutes long, and I needed another 25 to fill the CD, so I put a bunch of
songs on there that weren't all that great. I had run out of songs! HR2 got mixed reviews.
Some people loved it, some people didn't care for a lot of the songs. But then in May of 2000,
I aquired a whole new batch of trance music that was just phenominal. The result is HR3,
maybe the best HR to date. It certainly is the best mixed one; the way the tracks blend into
each other is almost flawless.

03 Eiffel 65 - The Edge
04 ATB - Movin' Melodies
05 Taste Experience - Highlander

11 Mike Koglin - The Silence (12" Club Mix)
12 Cygnus - The Orange Theme
13 Tilt vs. Paul Van Dyk - Rendezvous (Quadraphonic Mix)
High Rollin' 4
I felt it was time to do another double disc High Rollin' album. This one was going to have
a theme to it, with HR 4.10 being hard, fast, intense trance, while HR 4.20 being soft, mellow,
and slow trance. HR 4.10 borrows
heavily from Paul Oakenfold albums or mixes; in fact, only 3 songs on it haven't been spun
by Oakey. HR 4.20 borrows a lot from Sasha, as well as some of Oakey's mellower tracks.

08 Head Honcho - Walls of Jericho
09 Jamex Presents Tatoine - Music
10 Salt Talk - Eugina 2000 (Progressive Summer Mix)
High Rollin' 5
High Rollin 5 is the product of a splurge of CD purchases and downloads. I acquired more Oakey, Euphoria volumes
one through four, and various other miscellanious albums. Despite it being two discs and 25 songs, it wasn't enough.
My original tracklist called for over 35 songs! I had to trim the ones I didn't feel belonged with the rest of the
album. My mixing has progessed even further by now; not only do I fade each song, but I manage to beat match most
of them by accelerating or decelerating the tempo. Keep in mind I have no turntables! All this mixing was done with a simple .WAV editing program.
This compilation features some old classic tunes as well, like 'It's a Fine Day,' 'Flaming June,' and 'Heaven Scent.'

High Rollin' 6
Wow. Although I am proud of my work, I didn't exactly realize how much my friends liked the High Rollin compilations
until I made this one. Not to brag, but this is easily in the top 3 favorite CDs of all my friends who listen to
trance. The mixing is near flawless, the track selection brilliant, and even the CD label is cool. *grin* I've even
had a professional DJ compliment the album.

High Rollin' 7
This installment of the High Rollin' series is darker and slower. This is a true trance album, no fluff or cheese on it. It uses a lot of Sasha & Digweed, and some old school Oakenfold. No one really likes this CD, but I think it's one of the best High Rollin albums. An aquired taste, for sure.
01 Junk Project - Composure
02 Mainline - Narcotic

04 Allium - MOT Venture
05 Spooky - Little Bullet

12 BT - Dreaming
13 Tilt f. Grace - Invisible
14 Led Zeppelin - Babe I'm Gonna Leave You (Oakey's 1997 remix)
High Rollin' 8
It's back to hard trance for this one, a rollercoaster of buildups, breaks, vocals, and catchy hooks. It's a tie between this one and #6 for the best High Rollin' album.

I decided to break away from the High Rollin series to try something different. This is probably the highest energy mix of them all with some heavy trance and epic buildups.

Guitar Anthems
I made this CD back when I worked at Circuit City, as an excuse to play nice rock songs with cool guitar riffs and solos. (Tracklist coming soon)
Remember Me? I Popped Your Cherry!
While I don't like making mix CDs in general, except for "themed" ones like the High Rollin compliations, I decided to make one of all my favorite hard rocking songs at the moment. The title comes from the movie "Tomcats." So here it is:
